Talking point: Bristol Rovers boss Mark McGhee tells supporters: "We have to be patient."
Mark McGhee asked Bristol Rovers supporters to be patient in his programme notes before watching his side score their first goals and claim their first Memorial Stadium point of the season this afternoon.
Rovers took an early lead against Aldershot this afternoon when David Clarkson opened his account with a stunning strike from 25 yards – but McGhee's side had to battle until the end before Fabian Broghammer scored an 89th minute equaliser after goals from Craig Reid and Alex Rodman almost secured victory for Dean Holdsworth's team.

McGhee says he remains happy with the squad of players at his disposal and added in his programme notes: "I believe that this group of players gives us the possibility of doing well this season and has the potential to develop over time at a higher level.
"I fully appreciate the crowd's frustration at our results so far but I would like them to look deeper and take a longer-term view. This is a long season and there is a long way to go.

"The progress we are going to make with the players we have and as a club in terms of getting up the leagues is a long journey. As far as I am concerned this is just the start and I would still ask for a little patience."
What do you think of McGhee's plea for patience? How long before this squad of players can be judged fairly? Can the existing squad of players turn around their poor run of early season form?
