Talent contestants go Gaga and raise £1,500
AN array of talent was on display at Clevedon School as pupils battled it out in the final of Talent10.
The show was organised by upper sixth form A-level business students, under the name Team Evolution, as part of their course. About 50 acts auditioned and were whittled down to a 12-strong final show. All of the performers combined to dance to Lady Gaga song Telephone before they got to show off their individual talents.
Acoustic duo sixth formers Ashley Williams and Jack Hughes scooped the £100 first prize, tap dancer Imogen Arney won £20 and a box of chocolates for being runner-up, and pianist Francesca Povey received a box of chocolates for coming third.
The show was presented by business students Annabel Lowe and Lisa Russell.

Annabel, 17, said: "It went really well. It's really useful to organise an event like this because you actually see how much work goes into it.
"We had to raise all of the money ourselves and more than £1,500 will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital."
Money was raised by selling tickets for the auditions and the final show.
