Taking Steps to help hospice
A BRISTOL charity's latest fundraising challenge has received backing from pop group Steps.
St Peter's Hospice – the city's only hospice for terminally ill adults – will be holding its Stadium Dash fundraiser at the Memorial Stadium in February.

The challenge will involve participants running up and down 415 steps around the ground and the charity is delighted that the pop group has backed it.
Steps, pictured, known for songs including Tragedy and 5,6,7,8, heard about St Peter's Hospice when they were in Yate to switch on the Christmas lights.

St Peter's Hospice events fundraiser Louisa James said: "Steps heard about us and the Stadium Dash Challenge when they last came to Bristol and thought the idea was great as we are asking people to run up and down steps at the ground to raise money!
"Seeing them take the time to support us on Twitter and tell their 46,000 followers about us was absolutely fantastic. As a small, local charity, to get that kind of encouragement and exposure is fab!"
The Stadium Dash is taking place from 10am on Sunday, February 3. For more information or to sign up contact Louisa on Louisa.james@ stpetershospice.org or visit www. stpetershospice.org.
