Bristol City boss Sean O’Driscoll made two enforced changes to his starting line-up for today’s crunch home game against Middlesbrough in the npower Championship.

Having only just returned to the team following injury, influential midfielder Cole Skuse was granted compassionate leave following the death of a close family member.

And winger Paul Anderson was dropped to the bench after failing to recover fully from an illness that laid him low in the wake of Tuesday’s goalless draw with Brighton.

Neil Kilkenny deputised for Skuse in a four-man midfield and striker Steven Davies came in for Anderson as O’Driscoll returned to a more progressive 4-4-2 system against a Boro side that has dropped down the table since the turn of the year.
