TEAM NEWS: Millwall v Bristol City
Bristol City boss Derek McInnes proved as good as his word when making two changes to his starting line-up for today's npower Championship clash against Millwall at the New Den.
The Scot promised to utilise his squad during the busy Christmas and New Year period and he recalled centre-back Liam Fontaine and right-back Mark Wilson as City sought to extend their unbeaten run to three games.
Making his first appearance since October 27, former Celtic defender Wilson replaced the injured Richard Foster (hamstring), while Fontaine came in for striker Sam Baldock as McInnes reverted to a more defensive strategy.
Unfortunate to be left out after scoring twice against Peterborough United at the weekend, Baldock was named among the substitutes.

Jon Stead was deployed as a lone striker as McInnes reverted to the system that served City so well at Ipswich Town recently and loan signing Neil Danns made his final appearance before returning to parent club, Leicester.
Fit-again centre-half Louis Carey was back on the bench, while right-back Joe Edwards was included in the squad after returning from his loan spell at Yeovil Town.
Stephen Pearson again missed out through injury, while there was no place in the squad for striker Steven Davies.
Millwall (4-4-2): Forde; A Smith, Shittu, Beavers, Lowry; Henry, Abdou, Trotter, Feeney; N'Guessan, Henderson. Subs: M Taylor, J Smith, Osborne, Dunne, Wright, Batt, Marquis.
City (5-4-1): Heaton; M Wilson, Bates, McManus, Fontaine, Cunningham; Adomah, Skuse, Danns, Anderson; Stead. Subs: Baldock, Taylor, Woolford, Elliott, Carey, Edwards, Gerken (gk).
Referee: Roger East (Wiltshire)

“McClueless hasn't got a clue, please get rid of him.
Plenty of options to replace him, with Championship experience.
Don't trust him with the January transfer budget.”

“Fontaine substituted before half-time! McClueless, what a joke!”

“I cannot understand why:
Edwards has not started instead of Wilson M.
Davies has been left out for "tactical reasons"
Bates is playing instead of Carey.
Why we didn't start Baldock
With Foster injured, I would have brought in an additional defender and moved Cunningham to LWB which is his best position.
It worked at Ipswich so here's hoping.
As I write Ipswich, who've lost DJ Cambell recalled by QPR are 2-0 down and Peterboro are beating Barnsley 1-0.Weds 0-0.”

“I'm not amazed by McClueless anymore!
Carey should of been in there and not Fontaine, who is struggling for form.
M Wilson is another poor choice, where Edwards should of been used.
And Woolford in the squad, don't even go there!”

“Whats going on with Davies? Has he and DMac had a falling out or something, what with speculation of him going out on loan???
I know fixtures are coming thick and fast, and there has been one forced change, but why change a system and team that have proved well the last couple of games! I can't understand what's going on in the head of DMac, but he's off with the fairies imo!”

“best striker out, worse defender in - great!
we need an excellent performance today or we're in for one of the most inventive get-out stories we've heard yet!”
