TEAM NEWS: Bristol City v Hull City
Bristol City boss Derek McInnes made five changes to his starting line-up for this evening's Sky-televised npower Championship clash with Hull at Ashton Gate.
New loan signing Matthew Briggs was handed a debut at left-back after arriving from Premier League Fulham, while there was a recall for centre-back Lewin Nyatanga as McInnes revamped his back four in search of an elusive clean sheet.
Stephen Pearson recovered from illness to replace Jody Morris in the centre of midfield and Jon Stead and Ryan Taylor renewed their partnership in attack alongside Steven Davies as McInnes adopted a 4-3-3 formation in a bid to end a six-match sequence without a win.
Richard Foster took over from Albert Adomah on the right flank and Marvin Elliott was named among the substitutes after recocering from a hernia operation.
