Swindon Town match at Walsall cancelled due to snow
Days after the end of British Summer Time the English weather has claimed its first League One casualties of the winter months.
Swindon Town's trip north to Walsall and the Northampton v Colchester match have both been called off due to snow less than an hour before kick off.
Referee Carl Boyeson found the pitch covered in a thin layer of snow, and decided the surface would be too dangerous to play on.
The Swindon team and many of their travelling fans had arrived at the Banks’s Stadium by the time the decision had been made.
