To measure how much prices in the UK are rising, the Office for National Statistics assesses the prices of goods in a virtual shopping basket containing 650 goods and services.

As part of Bristol Fights Back, the Post has been looking at the cost of a selection of these items at supermarkets across Bristol, and comparing prices between brands to see where shoppers can cut costs.

This week, we went to Tesco in Eastville, where prices mostly matched those we found in Morrisons last week.
