Super-sub Pellow puts AXA back in command

Axa Reserves joined the leading group in the Senior Division after turning a 2-1 deficit into a 5-3 victory at home to Nicholas Wanderers Reserves.

Richard O'Kelly gave AXA an early lead before Jason Radford and James Hatcliff hit back for Wanderers, who were sunk by further goals from super-sub James Pellow (2), Neil Turner and Paul Noone. Wanderers' other scorer was Tom Pallent.
Rangeworthy took a one-point lead at the top of Division I following a 3-3 draw at home to third-placed Brislington Cricketers, who struck twice in the second half to level the scores.
The leaders went 3-1 up thanks to Harry Burke, Jason Park and Josh Duncan, but the Cricketers hit back through Jacob Westcott (2) and an own goal by veteran defender Steve Dwyer.
Lee Saunders fired Chipping Sodbury Reserves ahead at home to Hartcliffe Reserves, who hit back to draw 1-1 with a second-half equaliser from Ty Webb.
George Woodward (2) and Adam Walters were on target as Hambrook won 3-1 at South Bristol Central Reserves. Don Buckland replied for SBC, who remain anchored at the foot of the table with only one point from seven games.
Frampton Reserves took a step nearer safety in Division IV with a 3-1 away success in the basement battle at Talbot Knowle United A.
Strikes by Brian Cook, Abid Rashid and Craig Rogers gave the visitors a 3-0 lead before Nick Fox hit back with a 30-yard screamer midway through the second half.
AXA A crashed 3-0 at home to second-half goals from Richard Green, Ricky Morgan and Steve Brock for high-flying JDH Builders.
Former Oldland regulars Ian Hyett and Craig Grimshaw are the new joint managers of a young Oldland Abbotonians B squad in Division VI and saw their charges held to a 2-2 draw at home by Rangeworthy Reserves.
Jordan Merrett shot Rangeworthy in front, then completed his double with a second-half equaliser after Abbots hit back with goals from Grant Shail and Mitch Moreton, two of seven under-18s in the team.
