Sue kicks off sport facilities
WOMEN'S football international Sue Smith helped open new sports facilities at Chipping Sodbury School at the completion of a £3.7 million project including a 3G artificial grass pitch.
Most of the money for the project was provided by South Gloucestershire Council and the Football Foundation also contributed £630,000.

The new facilities will also be open to members of the local community outside of school hours. Head teacher Philip Lidstone said there had already been good feedback from the wider community.
Sheila Cook, the council's executive member for children and young people, said: "The school and the council have invested significantly in this scheme to develop first-rate sporting facilities to promote healthy and active lifestyles."
