Success is the word for children who joined South Gloucestershire reading challenge
An award evening has been held for some of the 4,000 children who signed up for a reading challenge held in South Gloucestershire's libraries during the summer holidays.
The Quest Seeker scheme involved youngsters collecting stickers for every book they read, completing the challenge when they had read six.

Every child reaching the target then received a medal, certificate and a DVD hire voucher.
Linked to the project were a number of activities held in the libraries, including making kites, designing their own coat of arms, and creating puppet theatres.
A team of volunteers were also involved, helping to run the activity programme.
An award evening was held at Staple Hill Library when some of the children received their medals, while volunteers were given certificates by South Gloucestershire Council chairwoman, Shirley Holloway.
Martin Burton, head of library, arts and information said: "The volunteers made a huge difference to the scheme this year, enabling us to maintain the quality of the activities and spend time helping children choose books and take part in the events."
