Students from St Brendan's set for Paintworks display
CREATIVE arts students from St Brendan's Sixth Form College in Brislington are set to exhibit their A-level coursework.
St Brendan's pupils will be displaying examples of fine art, printmaking, graphic design, textiles, photography, and design technology at the Paintworks Event Space from Thursday (Jan 31) until Sunday (Feb 3).
A grand opening for the exhibition will take place on Thursday from 6pm until 9pm and will be attended by Bristol's Lord Mayor, VIPs and the families of the artists.
On Saturday, there will also be a range of creative arts workshops running, with an opportunity to meet some of the student artists. Such workshops include 'Drawing Techniques with Charcoal and Rubber', 'Introduction to Oils' and 'Portrait Photography using Natural Light'.
