Strong Saints net Gordano triumph
ST Bernadette's extended their 100 per cent record in Somerset One with a 34-0 victory over sixth-placed Gordano.
The Whitchurch-based side have now reached the half way stage of the season, but remain only two points ahead of second-placed Taunton 2nds.

Saints' tries came from Ollie James (2), Daniel Harris, Mike Watkins and Tom Tiley. Chris Holley kicked a penalty and three conversions.
Taunton 2nds went on a second-half points spree when, after leading 15-7 at half time, they won 51-13 against Broad Plain.
The Bedminster side's try came from Tom Dingley and Ollie Nowell landed a conversion, penalty and drop goal.
Bottom club Bristol Barbarians lost 22-10 against Wiveliscombe with tries coming from Dan Cridge and Chris Ansah.
In Somerset Premier, Chew Valley's clash at Tor was abandoned after seven minutes following an injury to the referee.
Bristol Harlequins lost 24-22 to Stothert and Pitt. The scoreline flattered Quins and their tries came from Ian Lane, Ben Payne and Scott Manning. Barry Stone kicked two conversions and a penalty.
In Gloucester Premier, Southmead moved up to third after thrashing Hucclecote 59-3.
Former Dings Crusaders wing Tim Davies crossed for four tries with Mike Webb (2), Martin Hawks, Rob Wilks, Tony Knight and Stuart Clarke touching down. Danny Cotterell hit a penalty and three conversions.
Bristol Saracens won 19-7 at home to Whitehall with David Wright and Jez Kirwin touching down. Nick Webster landed three conversions.
Robbie Wotherspoon landed three penalties in Frampton Cotterell's 14-9 defeat against Spartans.
Aretians lost 20-8 at home to Cheltenham Civil Service. Chris Greening touched down with Andy Cochram adding a penalty.
No 8 Matt Screen scored his third try in three matches but he couldn't prevent Bishopston losing 37-5 against Tewkesbury in Lockleaze.
Old Bristolians won 23-3 against Chipping Sodbury with tries coming from Steve Forster, Joel Keen and Lyndon Davies. Simon Hawkins landed a conversion and two penalties.
In Gloucester Two, Kingswood missed out on going joint top after losing 11-7 to new leaders Old Cryptians.
Kingswood were awarded a penalty try, Ian Kirley adding the extras, with 15 minutes to go, but they failed to break through the Cryptians' defence.
Dom Swann scored a try, a conversion and three penalties as Old Elizabethan's claimed a 21-14 victory over Cheltenham Saracens. Dan Werzgyn also touched down.
St Brendan's finished their Gloucester Three campaign in 2008 with a 72-0 success against Gloucester All Blues.
Brendan's lead the division with a 100 per cent record but do not play another league match until next year.
Their tries came from Pete Hargreaves, Kris Tavender (2), Ben Chilvers (2), James Honeyfield (2), James Douglas (2), Dan Ford, and Charles Bennett. Chilvers added six conversions.
Brendan's were also awarded a penalty try after replacement full-back Alex Newman was taken out with a high tackle when in the process of scoring.
Chas Meddick suffered a broken nose after being punched in Dings Crusaders 2nds' 27-6 win over Lydney in the West of England Merit Table.
Dan Quartley scored two tries, two penalties and three conversions. Martin Gallagher also crossed.
Bristol Saracens Colts won 19-5 against Chew Valley thanks to tries from Dan Scroggs, who kicked two conversions, Tom Baird and Dave Durrell.
