A Michael Jackson styled skateboard, stolen from a Bristol pub just days after his death, has been returned.

he customised board was painted by local artist Phil Harvey for an exhibition at the Golden Lion on Gloucester Road.

It has a ghost-like image of the superstar painted in acrylic and spray paint and was mounted on the lounge bar wall.

But on Saturday, June 27 – during the pub's Glastonbury weekend event – it went missing.

The 28-year-old, of Montpelier, put out an appeal in the Bristol Evening Post and not long after the board was returned to him.

Mr Harvey said: "Unbelievably my skateboard has returned.

"Some guy sheepishly returned it to the pub.

"Very apologetic apparently.

"Amazing. Some people do have a conscience out there."
