Stinger used to stop burglary suspect in his tracks
POLICE arrested a suspected burglar after using a "stinger" device to burst the tyres of a car.
The 23-year-old man was arrested in South Gloucestershire on suspicion of attempted burglary and driving offences after a pursuit by officers along the A38.
He was one of three suspected thieves arrested yesterday as part of the force's Operation Relentless crime crackdown.
All three were in custody last night.

The other suspects were a 35-year-old man wanted for burglary and a 23-year-old arrested after being seen apparently breaching bail conditions.
