Station talks to involve the public
CALLS to consult residents over the re-opening of Saltford Station have been answered.
Bath & North East Somerset Council has agreed to the request of the Saltford Station Campaign Group for a full public consultation on the plan.
The authority agreed to a request from campaigners to launch a formal consultation at a meeting of its ruling cabinet yesterday.
B&NES council leader Paul Crossley confirmed the decision in a written reply to a question tabled to the cabinet by campaigners Duncan Hounsell and Chris Warren.
