Stand up against sickness sweeping Britain
We could not believe what the public were subjected to in Sex Education vs Pornography on March 31 on Channel 4, as naked men – not pictures, but real people – were paraded before pupils at Hanham High School.
Has Bristol and our nation sunk to an all-time low, morally and spiritually? The whole programme was degrading and demeaning in the extreme.
To attempt to portray this programme as educational is a cover- up for "professionals" whose aim appears to be to promote the most lewd pornography.
What were the teachers, head of school governors and parents thinking in allowing this abuse of their authority over young people in their care and protection?
Were parents even consulted before the programme was made?
We do hope others will protest regarding the making and showing on television of such programmes.
Isn't Bristol and Britain a sick enough nation already? Where have all the decent family programmes gone?
Wake up, stand up and be counted for what is right and good and true, and so protect our young people, who are the future of our nation.
Freddie and Anne Gallichan, Bristol.

“This is brilliant, a classic case of "no sex please, we're British".
Unfortunately Mr and Ms Gallichan are too stupid to realise that they've completely missed the point of the programme.
It wasn't about promoting pornography whatsoever. The point of the programme was to explore attitudes towards sex.
Accessing pornography is easy, and teenagers are accessing pornography that would no doubt make Mr and Ms Gallichan's hair stand on end.
What the programme did, and did very well, was explore attitudes to sex. Teenagers are being brought up to have a completely distorted view of what is "normal" in a sexual relationship, instead being presented with a pornographic "ideal".
I thought the programme explored this very well, and highlighted how teenagers attitudes towards sex have been affected by it's accessibility.
But I could, of course be wrong. Maybe Mr and Ms Gallichan's view that Channel 4 is promoting lewdness by parading naked people through schools make more sense. I'm sure that was their real agenda.”
