St Peter's prepares its Bristol bazaar
St Peter's Hospice is getting ready to stage its Christmas bazaar at Bristol Council House on College Green.
The bazaar, which has run for more than 20 years, draws nearly 1,000 shoppers to its doors every year and raises about £10,000.

The event will be officially opened by Lord Mayor Christopher Davies at 10am on Saturday, November 8.
Stalls and attractions include Christmas decorations, bottles, bric-a-brac, jewellery, a fruit stall, books and videos, cakes and preserves.
There will be a sweet stall with a chocolate fountain and a Santa's Grotto for the first time.
Refreshments and raffle tickets will be sold and the Gospel Generation Community Choir will sing to crowds.
Admission to the bazaar is 50p for everyone and it will be open from 10am-3pm.
"This is a really popular event and many people come every year to support the Hospice and start their Christmas shopping," said Sharon Griffin, chairman of the Bristol Christmas bazaar.
"We have all sorts stalls to cater for every budget so make sure you come along and get a bargain.
"We have had a huge amount of support from local businesses this year despite the credit crunch but in particular we'd like to thank Almondsbury Garden Centre, Storage King, Tollgate Hire, Sounds Commercial and Costco."
John Flanagan, community fundraising manager, said: "St Peter's Hospice relies on our support groups to help raise vital funds and spread the word about the work we do.
"They are our ambassadors and we cannot express how much we appreciate all they do for us.
"Events like these raise an awful lot of money for the hospice and ensure that we are able to continue to provide specialised care to more than 1,750 people every year with incurable cancer and other life-limiting illnesses free of charge."
