St Bernadette's won the Somerset One title in style by routing Keynsham 2nds 77-7.

The Whitchurch side still have two matches remaining but are now six points clear and cannot be caught by second-placed Taunton 2nds.

Chris Holley and Jake Morse both crossed the whitewash four times, Ollie James and James Moss added a brace of tries each, while Tom Tiley also touched down. Holley kicked six conversions.

Keynsham arrived without any recognised front row players and the match had to be played with uncontested scrums.

Gordano won 26-15 at Wiveliscombe to record their ninth league victory on the bounce. Aided by a 20-17 defeat for Nailea & Backwell at Imperial, the result confirmed that Gordano will at least finish third.

Gordano led 26-0 at the break with tries by Gerry Creber, Aaron French, Matt Rollings and a penalty try. Ed Whittaker added three conversions.

Bottom club Bristol Barbarians slotted a last-minute penalty to win 11-10 at Broad Plain, whose points came from a penalty and conversion by Ollie Nowell and a Robin Tremlett try.

In Somerset Premier, Bristol Harlequins won 31-17 against Wells thanks to tries from Adam Gittens, Ross Hickery, Mark Ralph, and Scott Manning. Hickery landed four conversions and a penalty.

Southmead need one more point to be certain of claiming second spot in Gloucester Premier after winning 74-0 against Spartans.

Dan Dufferty (3), Scott Power (2), Danny Cotterell (2), who also landed seven conversions, Rob Wilkes, Anton Welling, Gary Sposito, Onu Iheanacho and Danny Williams touched down.

Bristol Saracens lost 17-12 at Cirencester, while Kai Daniel and Simon Conrad touched down in Old Colstonians' 13-6 victory against Gloucester Old Boys. Daniel also added a penalty.

In Gloucester One, Old Bristolians have dropped to fifth after losing 28-13 at home to Longlevens. Lyndon Davies and Ben Bagnall scored tries while Simon Hawkins kicked a penalty.

Bishopston won 28-7 at Aretians with Lee Dunn, Will Dimond, Dave Priddy, Rob Daniel crossing the whitewash. Jon Martin landed a conversion and two penalties. Steve Romanowski kicked a penalty in Chipping Sodbury's 28-3 defeat at Ross-on-Wye.

Kingswood were handed the points from their Gloucester Two fixture with Tredworth. It was the fourth time Tredworth have called a match off this season.

Dom Swann scored a try, conversion and penalty in Old Elizabethans' 25-10 defeat to Old Cryptians.

St Brendan's need one point from their remaining two matches to claim the Gloucester Three title after beating Newent 43-0. Tries came from Daffyd Evans, Dan Ford, Charles Bennett, Ben Chilvers, Anthony Kolanko, man of the match Tim Jones and Mike Musten. Chilvers added four conversions.

● The Charles Saunders Combination Cup final between St Mary's and Clifton will be played on Wednesday, May 6 at the Memorial Stadium (7.30pm).
