Regional Sunday League: Downend Reserves were dumped out of the Gilbert Pullin Cup at the first attempt after suffering a 3-2 penalty shoot-out defeat to Nicholas Wanderers Reserves.

Wanderers were 3-1 down with 10 minutes of normal time remaining, but Justin Coombe completed a hat-trick to claw his side back into the tie.

Wanderers should have wrapped things up in extra-time, but a missed penalty and two disallowed goals took the game to penalties, which they won 3-2.

Blackhorse Boys are also through after scoring three goals in extra-time to seal a 6-3 win against City Darts.

A Cameron Jacobs hat-trick and goals from Louis Short, Alex Graham and Ricky Cox saw them to victory.

Redfield Rangers scraped past LFB United to put their name in the hat. A Gladstone Duncan double, and goals from Silvio Jacinto and Rodrigo Souza gave them a 4-3 extra-time win after Aaron Hill (2) and Nick Motlow had made it 3-3 after 90 minutes.

The Baggley brothers combined for Littlesea to see off the challenge of Fishponds Town.

Wayne bagged a hat-trick and Lee was also on the scoresheet in a 6-5 triumph.

Nicholas Wanderers will join their reserve team in the draw for the next round after a 4-3 win over A1 Sports & Performance. Craig Watts bagged a brace, with Tom Millard and Dale Faramiloe also on the scoresheet.

Lebeq Reserves hammered The Argonauts 9-0, and Double O Two were slammed 8-2 by Potishead Rangers, of Division IV.

Inter FC had to fight hard to overcome Almondsbury Athletic 4-2. Luke James, Kevin Rose, Adam Little and Matt Hudson were their marksmen.

Bemmyorm saw off Quayside 3-2, while Old Plough edged out AFC Keynsham 2-1 thanks to goals from Craig Hill and Anthony Hockey.

Sportsman hit Bristol Athletic Social for nine without reply with the help of a Grant Avery hat-trick and doubles from Jack Spence and Darryl Kinsburry.

Three Lions also hit nine goals in a 9-2 win over Stoke Lane Athletic. Liam Peart led the way with a hat-trick and Tom Gwyther hit the target twice.

Longwell Green Sports Sunday also found their form in front of goal, beating Lloyd United 6-2, while Real Bristol defeated Bristol Jaguars 6-1.

In the league, Bristol Athletic picked up three Premier Division points with a 2-1 win at AXA Sunday.

Carl Hart and an own goal sealed the points for Athletic after Alex Bond had scored for the home side.

North Bristol Colts also won away from home in the same division – 2-0 against GE Sports.
