Spot-kick ends Team Bath's FA Trophy run
A penalty 14 minutes from time ended Team Bath's FA Trophy campaign as they went down 2-1 at home to Blue Square Premier side Lewes.
The University of Bath started the brighter of the two sides, with Matt Cooper's header forcing a save from the Lewes keeper as early as the second minute.

Ten minutes later Dean Smith's glancing header put Team Bath a goal up. Matt Lock's deep cross was headed back across the goal by Sami El-Abd, and Smith was on hand to head through a pack of players into the net.
Mike Perrott could have doubled the lead on 22 minutes, but slid his effort from Takumi Ake's run and cross into the side netting.
Two minutes later Lewes skipper Daniel Cullip levelled the scores – stroking the ball into the Team Bath net from 12 yards out following a corner.
Michael Standing and Chamal Fenelon both went close in quick succession for Lewes midway through the second half.
Then 14 minutes from time referee Andy Davies pointed to the spot after substitute Stefan Cox's cross was handled by Gary Warren.
Standing held his nerve to fire the ball low to Darren Chitty's right to earn Lewes a place in the second round proper. Shaun Benison's shot three minutes from time almost earned a replay – but came back off the post.
Andy Tillson, Team Bath FC head coach, said: "We could have finished them off in the first half. We have to be positive, because we were playing against more experienced players and a team in a higher division, but we're just not getting the breaks at the moment."
