THE strange and increasing phenomenon of "spirit orbs" – spirit presence in the shape of a silver spheres – has taken a new turn with sound therapists Dean Carter and Lorna Heath finding that sounds from their crystal and Tibetan bowls seem to be attracting them.

Asking for a name, psychic Lorna was given the reply "Elaeon", which translates as "shining divinity".

She said: "I think they are of a spiritual nature and they are here to teach us the way to 2012 (the year when it has been prophesied there will be a great change on Earth). They are in communication with us to widen our consciousness."

Lorna and Dean, of Sherborne, Dorset, are building an archive of photographic evidence of orbs, and want to know if anyone else has tried communication or experienced any contact.
