Taunton put up a spirited fight before going down to their high-riding opponents in Division 1 South and West of the BGB Southern League last night.

Totton, who looked well organised and well-drilled, netted the only goal of a tight game in the 59th minute when James Taylor headed in a Jonathon Davies cross.

Taylor also missed a "sitter" 20 minutes from the end.
