WHAT a spectacular sight the London 2012 Paralympics opening ceremony was. Seeing 60,000 people crunching an apple at the same time, circus performers and disabled artists was truly out of this world and put the London 2012 paralympics on the map of the world. Some think our Paralympians train less than Olympians, but that's just not true. Our Paralympians are completely devoted to the sport, and train for many years to represent our country.Paralympians; they are truly remarkable. They are an inspiration to us all and we should be very proud of them for making Britain great and looking on the bright side.

WHAT a pleasure it was to watch the opening ceremony of the Paralympics. Spectacular, moving and dignified. So very different to the opening of the Olympics a few weeks ago – which sadly lacked any of those attributes. So well done Britain, it seems we finally got it right.
