PORTISHEAD Working Men's Club is to become a 1920s 'speakeasy' for the night with music from a top jazz and blues bands.

The event, on July 13, will feature music from Patsy and the Revelators which recently performed at Jools Holland's Birmingham Jam House.

The band will be playing a set designed to capture the atmosphere of the Prohibition era in the US.

The band features one of the country's finest saxophonists in Sam 'Spoons' Rogers who has appeared with the likes of Ruby Turner, Petula Clarke, Soweto Kinch, and Danny Gillespie of The Feeling.
