Southampton too strong for Bristol City reserves
Ivan Sproule and fellow first-team regulars Liam Fontaine, Lee Johnson and Gavin Williams all completed the 90 minutes of Bristol City Reserves' 2-1 defeat against their Southampton counterparts.
Midfielder Williams gave Bristol City the lead at Southampton's Staplewood training ground with a deflected long-range effort but former Reading defender Graeme Murty equalised before half-time.
