WHILST we cannot name or otherwise identify the 14-year-old criminal from Southmead we feel it absolutely crucial that we publicise his offences. For every time he commits a crime he shows his contempt for other people, yet magistrates want his identity kept secret because they say he is "vulnerable". It is enough to make a cat laugh.

This youngster needs sorting out before he becomes that hardened criminal and before he develops into a more dangerous threat to decent law-abiding citizens.

He already has a criminal record long enough to last a lifetime.
