Song and dance for arts week
THE corridors of a Kingswood school are alive with the sound of music this week.
Kingsfield School is holding an arts week which has a strong song and dance flavour. Street dance group Six -D, who have toured with JLS, are visiting to perform to Years 7, 8 and 9 while Year 10 BTEC students are working with Access to Music, a provider of popular music education.
Pupils from partner primary schools are working in the music department on keyboards and the "junk band".
Rehearsals continue throughout the week for the production of We Will Rock You, which will take place in the Hexagon Theatre, from July 18 to 20.
