BRISTOL Combination Under-20s take on their Somerset counterparts tonight at Broad Plain RFC (7.30pm).

The representative side warmed up for this eagerly-awaited clash with a 74-8 humbling of University of Bristol Freshers XV two weeks ago.

But Combination manager Cherry Hall, pictured, has warned his side against complacency, and believes that Somerset are favourites going into the clash.

He said: "We played some fantastic rugby against the Freshers, but Somerset will be a step up, and are unlikely to give us as much time on the ball as the students. I'm sure Somerset will coming here believing they can win.

"They will be a quality side, and we will need to be at our very best if we hope to have any chance of causing an upset. If I'm honest, our preparations have not gone as smoothly as we would have liked, due to some poor weather conditions, with several key members of our squad unable to make our training sessions .

"But we're delighted to be given the opportunity to take on a County side, and I know our lads are relishing the challenge"
