Former Somerset skipper Langer set for coaching role with Australia
Recently-retired former Somerset skipper Justin Langer is now set to make his first foray into coaching with the Australian Test side.
Reports in Australia suggest that Langer, who played 105 Tests and eight one-day internationals, could this week become batting coach, as well as an advisor, to Ricky Ponting's team.

Former Somerset skipper Justin Langer could take up a coaching role with Australia
Langer, 39, is believed to have been offered the role by Australia's coach, Tim Nielsen.
"There's been a lot of talk about me coaching and that is an option," Langer said.
"Hopefully, there will be a lot of mentoring with young players on their way to making it to the top in a variety of sports.
"Over the next 12 months, or the next period of my life, I've got to work out whether my passion is going to be coaching, writing more books, or commentating and my public speaking and consultancy projects that I'm setting up."
Langer retired after four outstanding seasons at Somerset CCC as Australia's highest first-class run scorer, with 28,382 runs from 360 games.
"I feel a responsibility to help out other people to realise their dreams and ambitions and to achieve to their maximum potential and ability," he added.
