Snow joke for Team Bath and Bath City
The weather is threatening to play havoc with both Bath teams just as they bid to close in on the play-offs.
No side in Blue Square South has played fewer games than Bath City or Team Bath, who are two and four points outside the top five respectively.
And the fact that they share Twerton Park means a fixture pile-up is beginning to look ominous.
City's game away to Fisher Athletic today was postponed and Team Bath's home match with Welling quickly followed suit.
Bath would have climbed into the play-off places for the first time this season if they had beaten Thurrock at home on Tuesday night. However, the snow put paid to their hopes.
"With our small squad we cannot afford to be playing Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday," said manager Adie Britton.
"We have got 17 games left and 11 are at home and we know what state the pitch can be like at this time of year."
Midfielder Scott Rogers will remain on loan at Newport County.
Winger Ali Gibb could also be available to go out on loan to build up his match fitness after missing the first half of the season through an ankle fracture.
Dorchester Town's Blue Square South clash with Havant & Waterlooville will be subject to a morning pitch inspection following yesterday's heavy snow in Dorset.
Former Poole Town and Bournemouth Poppies manager Brian O'Donnell has joined the caretaker-management team on a voluntary basis, whilst axed players Danny Clay and Roy O'Brien have accepted chairman Eddie Mitchell's offer to return to the club.
Former midfielder Jon Docker, currently training with Grays Athletic, may also make a surprise return after also offering his services free of charge to the cash-strapped Magpies.

Weston-super-Mare's Blue Square South game at Hayes & Yeading has been postponed due to a snow covered pitch.
