“why are there a series of young lads going to elderly peoples homes nr chew magna area trying to sell dusters,brik-a-brac goods? surely you need a licence or proof of id. these guys claim they are young offenders trying to get there life back on track ,whilst i can see a point to there actions why target the eldery, someone needs to check this out, so people with eldery parents, friends, relatives please be warned.”

“No Brain Bristol, another poor soul sucked into the tree huggers, sandel wearing, lentil eaters, views, for every proffesor agreeing with them, there is another with the opposite view, the earth warming and cooling is a natural phenomena, and has been so since the beginning of time itself,we were once under ice 20 miles thick, followed by desert conditions, both events were over a million years ago,so stop spreading the tale of woe,and get it for what it is,Governments way of screwing more tax out of us,get well soon.”

“Katie .....more seriously.... on the Isle of Wight, teachers who cannot reach their own school because of travel problems are required to get to their nearest school. Obviously, all over the UK teachers are likely to live some distance from their place of work, perhaps all councils should insist that teachers turn up at their nearest school which is likely to be in walking distance.”

“Katie at 14.41
I was a teacher and lived in my school's catchment area, children knocking on my door at week-ends for extra homework got a bit much.”

“"So much for global warming" - yawn!!
In all likelihood Northern Europe will become COLDER because of climate change due to the diminishing strength of the Gulf Stream. This beng as a result of reduced salinity in the Atlantic (from glacial melt water).
So if you fancy weather like that of Canadian regions that have polar bears - we are at similar latitudes - then yeah "bring it on"....minus 45 woop, woop!”
