Snow in Bristol
People in Bristol are waking up to snow this morning, with light snowy showers reported in Clifton, Weston-super-Mare, Portishead and other areas of the city.
There was steady snow at Bristol Airport during the night, but it has not settled and there is no impact on flights with everything operating as normal this morning.

“It's great when it snows and car drivers have to find alternative means of transport. Makes the city so peaceful and quiet when there's no noisy cars.”

“Surely it should be obvious that this story was written last night on the basis of the weather forecast?
BTW, I say 'stick'...”

“Settle. Mind you, I was brought up wrong, so you're probably best not to follow my lead.
I must admit that I'm quite excited! I've been staring at this computer monitor since I got in at 9 this morning. With no view of a window, I'm dying to see what it's like outside. A real winter wonderland, I'm sure. Only 2 hours until I find out!”

“@Spiny
-0 means "no nothing"
+0 means "nothing"
no nothing is greater than nothing, so it's technically warmer. That's just maths, that is.”

“Pitch, settle, lay? Which do you say when the snowflakes don't melt?”

“Come on 'this is Bristol'! You use a 2009 photo because Bristol didn't look anything like that this morning. There was light, wet snow which didn't settle. This is not news or reason to run the headline "Snow in Bristol". :(”
