Sneyd continue impressive start to the season

IN Division One, Sneyd Park continued their good form with a 3-1 win over AFC Bohemia.

Goals from Martin Salisbury, Gareth Browning and Antonio Carnevale, pictured, won the day for Sneyd. Rufus Steel replied for Bohemia.

Torpedo also impressed, winning 5-1 against Sporting Greyhound. Gareth Davies, Dave Pitcher and a hat-trick from Liam Rice earned Torpedo their win.

Jamaica Bell slipped up losing 5-1 against Clifton St Vincent, with Nick Kirby, Patrick Royal, Liam Marsh and Kyle Cochran (2) netting for Saints.

Lawes Juniors won 4-1 against Clifton Rockets. Olly Bendell, Pat Riley, Chris Taylor and Dominic Wall scored for Lawes. Matt Horn struck twice, but Saints OB slumped to a 6-2 defeat against Ashley. In Division Two, Evergreen beat Ashley Reserves 3-2. Lee Osborne, Jack Collins and Martin Baker scored for the winners, with Will Freeman and Glen Callaghan replying for Ashley.

Jaz Warmington scored in Tebby's 1-1 draw with Green Park Rangers. Hare On The Hill defeated St Andrews 4-1, thanks to goals from Ed Daveys (2), Tim Bawden and Will Truscott.

Portland OB beat Saints OB Reserves 4-2 with Rich James, James Stanley, Darren Cook and Joe Walford scoring for the victors.

In Division Three, Old Cothamians had George Harris (3) and Chris Lincoln to thank for their 4-1 win over Helios.

Portland OB Reserves drew 1-1 with Easton Cowboys Reserves. Andy Hurley gave Portland the lead, but the Cowboys equalised late on.

Gus Rogers led the way with four goals for Retainers Reserves in their 9-1 win against Cotswool Reserves. Steve Rees netted for Sneyd Park A in a 2-1 defeat to Cotham OB.

Leading scorer in Division Four was Marcus Prince, who hit a treble for DDAS in a 6-1 win against Torpedo B.
