Sneyd Park set up cup derby
SNEYD Park Reserves defeated Easton Cowboys in the last eight of the Norman Hardy Cup to set up a semi-final against their first team.
Kevin Spurgen, John Swarsund and Chris Bird were the men on target for Sneyd in their 3-1 victory.
Portland Old Boys also went through, goals from Craig Grist and Richard James clinching a 2-0 win against Sporting Greyhound Reserves.
Lawes Juniors complete the semi-final line-up after seeing off Torpedo Reserves 5-2. Ian Cassley (2), Chris Taylor (2) and Lloyd Bendall were on target for Lawes, with Rupert Bartowski and Asa Jones replying for Torpedo.
Clifton St Vincents B reached the semi-finals of the All Saints Cup with a 3-1 victory over Clifton Rockets Reserves, Marcus Haworth.
Old Cliftonians overcame Conham Rangers 4-2. Matt Baxter and Lewis Nixon were on target for Conham, but goals from Damian Kelland, Rick Yates, Chris Lincoln and Dan Crech put Cliftonians through to the last four of the competition.
Saints Old Boys Reserves fought back to win 4-1 against DDAS, who took the lead with a first-half goal from Max Bolton.
Extra-time and penalties were needed to settle the remaining quarter-final, with Green Park Rangers beating Torpedo A 5-4 on spot-kicks after a 3-3 draw.
In the rain-restricted league programme, Ed Bicknell scored for Sneyd Park A in their 2-1 Division III defeat by Portland Old Boys Reserves.
In Division IV, the only game played saw Jersey Rangers Reserves beat Tebby AFC 4-1 thanks to Tom Chilcott, Mike Fuller, Jay Hooper and an own goal. Josh Martin netted for Tebby.
