Smith's ton in vain as Bitton still get beaten
ALL the games in the North Somerset Saturday Conference were washed out, but four games managed to beat the wet weather in the Sunday Conference
In Division Two, Bear Flat overcame Bitton's 155 with three wickets and five balls remaining.
After being put into bat, Bitton were soon in trouble, as they lost Matt Edwards and Jack Veale in Matt Johnson's second over.
Jordon Smith stood firm, as wickets around him fell, until he was last man out off the last ball of the innings, having scored 108 from 120 balls, including 13 fours and four sixes.

Johnson finished with an outstanding return of 4-9, while Richard Bahadoor took 3-34 and Chris Bence returned 2-17.
Bear Flat started badly, losing Mark Gunning to a fine Josh Gover catch off of John Fox's first ball.
A fourth-wicket stand of 79 between Nick Parnell (48) and Simon Broklebank (32), followed by 26 from Bence put Bear Flat in a strong position.
The Bath side then lost three wickets for two runs, before Johnson and Alistair Platt saw them over the winning line.
Fox was the most successful of the Bitton attack with 3-38, while Dan Veale, who took 2-18, and Sam Smith, who only conceded 12 runs in his eight overs, also impressed.
In Division Three, Churchways were bowled out for 123 by Stothert & Pitt, who reached their target for the loss of two wickets.
