Slade is hoping for Tomlin spree
Yeovil Town boss Russell Slade is hoping Gavin Tomlin's goal
at Middlesbrough will spark the midfielder into another scoring
-

spree.
The former Fisher Athletic attacker netted four times in
pre-season and in the opening-day draw with Walsall.
But he had gone three games without a goal prior to his neat
near-post volleyed finish just before half-time in the 5-1
Carling Cup defeat at the Riverside Stadium.
Slade said: "The important thing is he keeps his confidence
and momentum going. I think, since he has been here, he scored
four in pre-season and now he has two in the campaign so that
is all good stuff.
"It shows he can do it at this level and more importantly
let's hope he can do it at Carlisle on Saturday.
"The players are down after losing a football match but I
think they recognise the quality they were playing against.
"It was awesome, really, and unless you are dealing with
that week in and week out it is difficult to get a grip
of."
After flying back from the North East yesterday morning, the
Glovers will train today before taking the coach up to Cumbria
tomorrow as they complete part two of four successive away
games.
