Skyfall, Bristol City and plenty of practice - I'm ready for golf now
Practice, practice and more practice. This is my fourth week at home since I last played and I really have itchy feet to get away again.
Of course, I think the break has done me a bit of good, but I do find myself getting tired from practising and training every day.
This week, I'm going to slow it down a little bit and make sure I get some good rest ahead of the last three weeks of the season.
On Friday, I'm flying to Dubai for a weekend of practice. I love being out there and working on my game at Jumeirah Golf Estates, which is where we play the season-ending Dubai World Championship.

Right down at the very bottom of the range we use for the tournament is quite possibly the best practice facility I've ever had the pleasure of using.
There are five huge and immaculate greens surrounded by bunkers and slopes, where you can hit into them with anything from a nine-iron down, so it's ideal for short game and pitching practice – my idea of heaven. I'm meeting one of my best mates on tour out there, Dave Horsey, who is also my ISM stablemate, and I expect I'll be taking a few Dirhams off him when we have a game over the weekend.
I saw Skyfall, the new James Bond film, with my girlfriend last Thursday. I absolutely love my Bond movies, but I wasn't as big a fan of this one as I thought I might be. Don't get me wrong, it's a good film, but I thought it was missing a few classic Bond moments.
There was no real car chase, not many gadgets and the new 'Q' will take some getting used to, I think. Maybe I need to see it again. I'm thinking about doing so before I go away.
I also went to Ashton Gate a couple of times last week. As I've said many times, I love my football and look forward to getting down there when I'm home. City lost both games, though, and lots of fans, I think, might be starting to turn on the manager.
When you look at their squad as a whole, it is not a second-from-bottom side. They just don't seem to be playing the football they are capable of.
Anyway, back to the golf. This time next week I'll be in Singapore preparing for my last three events. I can't wait to get back on the course.
