Skuse wants Premier Leage action - with Bristol City
Bristol City midfielder Cole Skuse insists he remains as proud as ever to be playing for his home-town club.
The central midfielder recently signed a new three-year contract with the club he has supported since childhood.

Speculation had linked Skuse with a move to Stoke but Skuse would like nothing more than to reach the Premier League with the Robins.
"I've managed to sign a new contract," he said. "The club offered the deal to me just before the season ended and I've now signed it.
"It's nice to have my future secured for another three years, especially as a Bristol lad and a supporter of the club.
"I remember when I signed my first-ever professional contract there were a lot of proud people amongst my family and friends. That doesn't go away."
Skuse is hoping Bristol City's poor finish to last season will be put well behind them when they return for pre-season training a week on Wednesday.
He said: "Our aim for the new season is to improve on last term, and a step further than the season before that (when City lost in the play-off final to Hull).
"Our target is always to improve and reach the top league. Hopefully we can achieve that next season."
Bristol City's new away kit, which sees them return to an all-black strip, will go on sale next month with shirts priced between £30 and £40.

“Not sure what role Scuse has in the team when Elliot and Orr our both fit a good backup player but i would prefer Marv and Brad as first choice picks, still believe we are desperate for a more attack minded centre midfielder especially as Noble as gone now Gav Williams is an option but isnt always going to be fit as we seen last season. a Nick Carle type player would be good as i think we missed him last season.”

“"Skuse wants Premier Leage action - with Bristol City"
Well I am surprised to read this. Are there any of the players in the squad who don't want premier league action with Bristol City?
A more pertinent question might be given the choice would he rather play for his home-town club in the Championship, or move to one of the Premier League strugglers?”

“I am delighted to hear Skuse has signed a new three year contract. He is fast developing into a fantastic player and certainly did not let anybody down when Elliott was injured in January. I would really like to see Skuse in the holding role with Elliott given freedom to roam from box-to-box.”
