Motocross fans are in for a rare treat on Sunday, when the 13th round of the Wessex Centre's Remedies Bar series is staged at the Marshfield Moto-Park, just off the A420, between Wick and Chippenham.

Bristol's John May leads the series, but the Meredith Suzuki star will be tested by Calne Honda rider Jamie Skuse and local ace George Davis in three 20-minute events.

The 125-250cc class has developed into a battle between Darren Shears, Nick Wadge, Tom Harvey and Ross Flashman, and with just three more rounds to follow, all four will be after as many points as possible.

Title points are also at stake in the Junior A and B Championships, and also in the over 35 years of age event.

Many of the UK's leading stars, who are in action in the Dutch Grand Prix at Leirop on Sunday, will be jetting back to the Manor Farm circuit at Langrish, near Petersfield in Hampshire, on Monday for the Portsmouth club's Ken Hall solo and sidecar meeting.

There is more top-line action at Pontrilas, between Hereford and Abergavenny, on Sunday and Monday, with the running of the Red Bull Pro National, British two stroke and ladies championships at Howton Court.

There are no trial events locally, but the Lyn club have an event at Barbrook, in North Devon, on Sunday and the Taunton club's event on Monday is at Buckland St Mary, near Chard.
