Skipper Armfield's heroics are not enough for Almondsbury
More individual heroics from skipper Tom Armfield failed to prevent Almondsbury losing their third match in a row in the Senior Division of the Bristol & District League.
Having come down from Bristol & North Somerset last year, the South Gloucestershire side have struggled to adjust.

Armfield took 4-28 and hit 30 runs in the 67-run loss to Portishead on the opening day of the season and then smacked 67 in the seven-run defeat to Hampset last weekend.
He claimed 7-22 on Saturday when restricting Chew Magna to 130-9 but he was helpless to prevent Almondsbury collapsing to 74, with brothers Gary (4-29) and David Filer (3-7) doing the damage.
Twyford House took advantage of leaders Pak Bristolians and second-placed Hampset having their matches against St Mary Redcliffe and Failand & Portbury cancelled.
House won by five wickets against Bristol Asians, Andy Nairn taking 5-44 as the Asians were restricted to 176. Ross Sutton hit 68 in House's 178-5.
Last summer's Division One champions Cleeve are off the mark after securing a four-wicket victory against Portishead.
Rob Iles and Chris Bridge made 58, including six fours and two sixes, and 45 respectively in Portishead's 224-6. Cleeve lost opening batsman Chris James for eight but secured the win thanks to captain Mike Haswell (87, including 15 fours and two sixes) and last year's skipper Robert Hoffeldt (86 not out, including 12 fours).
In Division One, Hanham hung on to maintain their 100 per cent record and beat previously unbeaten Bristol YMCA by two wickets. In reply to YMCA's 186-7, Hanham were cruising at 150-2 before finishing on 187-8. Richard Edwards (58), Simon Dew (52 not out) and Simon Bryant (42) were the leading batsmen.
Dave Gardner smacked 70 and then took 5-60 in Old Down's 33-run victory against Coalpit Heath.
Phoenix West Indians (74-1) secured a nine-wicket win against Bristol Sri Lankans (73) after Nathan Bowen claimed 7-33.
In Division Two, Daniel Watkins maintained his fine early season batting form when hitting 99 during Stoke Bishop's 56-run victory against Lodway. Watkins scored 75 and 116 not out in the club's previous two league matches.
Dave Luff's century guided Lympsham to a 56-run victory against University of Bristol Staff in Division Three.
Luff smacked 10 sixes and five fours in his unbeaten 103, while James Parsons finished on 58.
J Wood's 102 not out guided Old Elizabethans to a 14-run win over Barrow Gurney.
Danny Peters made 73 and Martin Ubank took 4-59 and hit 28 as Gordano Valley beat Bitton by five wickets.
Dave Dewet took 8-24 to ensure Lodway 2nds claimed a two-run win against BAC, with the BAWA-based club being bowled out for 95.
Harry Blackwell (152) and Mike Stutter (126) both hit centuries as Thornbury A made 298-4 ahead of Bradley Stoke scoring 203-9.
