KYE Simpson embarked upon a remarkable solo goalscoring spree to propel Beaufort into the second round of the Gloucestershire FA Sunday Premier Cup.

In outstanding form, the striker poached no fewer than eight goals as his side saw off Hope and Anchor 12-0 in a first-round tie.

He was joined on the scoresheet by Sam Vile, who weighed in with a hat-trick, and Luke Meacham.

Kyle Porter and Austin Waddington were in goalscoring form for Brislington 1987, helping themselves to two apiece in a 4-1 triumph over Real Bristol. Matthew Steele replied for Real.

Withywood stormed to an emphatic 6-0 success over AFC Keynsham courtesy of goals from Dale Attiwell (3), Rich Cox, Ben Thatcher and Craig Simmonds.

Lee Pitman and Dan Aldridge netted for Cutters Friday, but were unable to stave off a 4-2 defeat to Abbey More in the first round of the Somerset FA Sunday Cup.

Dan Zerk and Melvyn Wood earned Midland Spinner a safe passage at the expense of Pied Horse in the Bud and Chas Finch Cup, Gary Newman replying.

AARON Price helped himself to five goals as AFC Brunel shot down Bristol 5 Seniors 7-2 in Division I of the Bristol Premier Sunday League.

Michael Grist and Craig Kelly were also on target as Brunel maintained their pursuit of promotion favourites Lebeq Tavern Courage Reserves.

Brislington Badgers were no match for Lebeq, Jordan Thaws, Steve Thomson, Tony Perry and Nigel Edwards finding the back of the net in a 4-1 triumph.

Lockstock United beat The George 3-1 courtesy of strikes from Matt Coggins (2) and Andy Masters, while Charlie Lacey and Andy Hellen netted in a losing cause for The Railway, beaten 5-2 by Zimba.

Avon Plate saw off JMS Boys 3-2 in the Premier Division, Tyler Gayle (2) and Andrew Makepeace hitting the target, while Sam Akande and Kieran Kelly shot UWE Dynamos to a 2-1 win over SWYD United.

Seb Caley, Matt Hubbard, Sam Moody and Chris Slater helped Keynsham Park Rangers to a 4-3 victory over Wizard Wanderers in Division Two, Rob Giles, Dean Henderson and Dale Leonard replying.

Chris Taylor, Tom Hacker and Ali Gibson scored two apiece for AFC Redland, 7-2 winners at Quality Finish. Andy Taylor completed the rout with Dan Laskey and Paul Richards netting for Quality.

Cameron Buck and Danny Villis each netted twice as Smart Sports Coaching outgunned Real St George 4-2, Kyle Thomas and Karl Howell responding.

Chris James and Simon Pole weighed in with hat-tricks as Castle Court beat AFC Brunel Reserves 7-2 in the Third Division, Gamal Alzanati scoring twice for the losers.

Adam Turvey's hat-trick helped carve out a narrow 4-3 victory for Avon Plate Reserves over Cathedral City, for whom Nicky Morgan (2) and Adam Krych replied.

Matt Moran scored four in Jolly Sailor's 6-1 romp at Velindra FC, while Vittles Athletic beat City Dart Veterans 3-1.

LEBEQ continued their Bristol Regional Sunday League Premier Division title charge by crushing Flowerpot Wanderers.

Kristian Douglas and Rafael Waugh helped themselves to two goals apiece and were joined on the score-sheet by Leon Grange and Luke Green in a 6-1 win. Adam Shapcott netted a lone consolation.

Sporting Bristol maintained their pursuit of the leaders, Kerian Randall (2), Jason Thatcher (2) and Phil Coles finding the net in a 5-1 romp at the expense of Cribbs Friends Life.

Adam Seekings (2) and Reece Murrell were on target for AC Bristol in a 4-0 victory over HCC United in Division Three, while Sam Elwell's hat-trick earned Jolly Boys Reserves a 3-3 draw against Shadwell Rovers.

Ryan Haskins was on target for The Castle, but could not avert a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Spartans.

Ben Pocock (2), Nick Haddow and Josh Day propelled Bristol Florentina to a 4-1 triumph over BAWA Athletic, for whom Josh Grubb replied, while Real Fishponds beat Almondsbury Athletic by the same scoreline thanks to strikes from Joe Dykes (2), Jason Barter and Tom Chambers.

The Argonauts registered their first league win in 12 months, Paul White (2), Pete Coles, Arron Nunn and Andy Barker netting in a 5-2 success against Novers Old Boys.

Bristol Jaguar Colts eased to a 5-0 victory at LFB United. Arthur Sticklings (2), Steven Lewis (2) and Adam De Long finding the target, while Stoke Gifford thrashed Bristol Palace Reserves 7-0 thanks to goals from Steve Aldridge (3), Aaron Jones (2), Tom Lambert and Jason Joyce.
