Course instructors, workshop tutors, fun day organisers and children's activity leaders are being sought by the Southville Centre to be part of their Summer School during August this year.

Centre manager Anne Malindine said: "We want to put together a programme of activities so that adults and children can dip in and out and take part as they want. Some of the options will be one-offs, some will perhaps be a regular spot each week.

"We hope we will be able to provide opportunities for parents to do something while their children are doing something else in the same building."

The Southville Centre, on Beauley Road, is open to suggestions from individuals or organisations that would like to provide sessions.

Daytimes and evenings and a variety of spaces are available plus a café for lunch.

Normal hire charges have been reduced and activities will be advertised as part of the Southville Centre Summer School.
