Cheryl's image sent to space

A competition in conjunction with social networking site Bebo found 501 messages to send, via a high-powered radio wave, to the planet Gliese 581c.
The messages were included in the digital time capsule called A Message From Earth. The capsule travelled at light speed, passing Mars in four minutes and leaving our own solar system within 20 hours.
It will reach its destination in the spring of 2029.
The missive includes images of landmarks such as the London Eye and Edinburgh Castle, along with pictures of famous faces including Hillary Clinton and TV duo Richard and Judy.
Sir Patrick Moore, Dragons' Den's Deborah Meaden and pop band McFly are among the celebrities involved with the project.
While X-Files star Gillian Anderson sent pictures of George W Bush and Barack Obama side by side to represent good and evil, pop act McFly took the chance to praise Cheryl Cole's "perfect body".
Other messages from Bebo users tackled the meaning of life and world peace.
The target planet was discovered last year, and is the right distance from its parent star to potentially have water on its surface.
