Shirehampton Reserves go top of Bristol & District League
Unbeaten Shirehampton Reserves took over at the head of the Bristol & District League Senior Division from Made For Ever, whose game at St Pancras was called off, thanks to a 3-1 home win against Coalpit Heath.
On target for the leaders were Scott Bamford (2) and Aaron Still, with Matty Cole replying for the visitors, who also hit the bar twice in the second half.
James Pellowe and his brother, Ben, were the scorers for AXA Reserves, who lost ground after losing 3-2 against lowly Hallen A. Tom Whiteside, Scott Chancellor and Harry Couch were the Hallen heroes.
Miners Rangers won for the first time since being promoted, goals from Dave King and Mark White, on his debut, sealing a suprise 2-1 success at Wick Reserves.
Honours were even after the Division I top-of-the-table battle between Rangeworthy and pacesetters Seymour United Reserves ended 2-2.
Dan Troake and Tom Speary gave Seymour a 2-0 lead at the break, only for the hosts to hit back through Josh Duncan and veteran striker Micky Jefferies, who converted a last-minute penalty.
Bitton A were 4-1 winners over South Bristol Central Reserves thanks to goals from Alex Zajek (2), David Wheatley and Parris Tilling, while Talbot Knowle Reserves beat Hartcliffe Reserves 4-2.
In Dvision II, Warmley Saints maintained their lead at the top with a 5-3 victory over Broadwalk. Paul Cutter and Sam Andrews both netted twice, with Chris Punter also on the scoresheet.
AEK Boco Reserves are up to second spot after beating Patchway Town A 3-1 thanks to Danny Trip, Tom Bewley and Karim Rendall.
Iron Acton slipped up with a 2-2 draw against Winterbourne United A, while Eden Grove are up to fifth after hammering Greyfriars Athletic Reserves 9-0.
Daniel Hunt led the spree with four goals, while Ricky Lewis, Ben Jarvis, Ashley Rowe, Eddie Trainer and Mark Hortham were also on target.
In Division III, Mendip United Reserves stayed top after Jeff Barry and Ryan Peacey clinched a 2-1 win over Olveston United Reserves. Craig Daly replied for the visitors.
Shireway Sports are just three points behind with two games in hand after a 5-0 thumping of Shirehampton A.

Referee Nick Stacey abandoned the Division V game between Bradley Stoke Reserves and Soundwell Victoria, whose striker Paul Waines was taken to hospital with a serious knee injury.
Soundwell were 4-0 up with goals from Chris King (2), Joe Power and the unlucky Waines when the game was stopped in the 75th minute.
Bradley Stoke had earlier netted, but the goal was ruled out because the ball had burst before it crossed the line!
Roman Glass St George B took over at the top of Division V with a 3-0 win against Greyfriars Athletic A.

In Division VI, Patchway North End's lead has been cut to three points after they were held 2-2 by Brislington Cricketers Reserves. Robert Page and Chris Rubin scored for Patchway.
Hallen B went second after beating Brazil with goals from Lee Fairyman and Tony Beecham.
Oldland Abbotonians B scored through Ashley Bernard and Justin Close but remain bottom after losing 3-2 to AEK Boco A.
A Tom Bailey strike gave AXA B a 1-0 victory over St Pancras Reserves.
