Shepherd leads the Sartan United demoliton job

STEVE Shepherd netted four times as Sartan United thrashed Patchway North End Reserves 9-0 in the second round of the GFA Primary Cup.

Jacob O'Donnell (2), Wesley Hawkins, Moss Bowman and Lee Dites completed the rout.

Shepherd was upstaged by Greg Downes who scored five goals in Stapleton's 10-0 romp against Lion Reserves, with Mark Bench (2), Liam Osborne (2) and Jay Evans also on target.

Winford PH crashed 8-1 at Dodington, whose scorers were Callum Simpson (3), Ben Calver (3), Clark Banwell and Tom Bostden.

Paul Boz hit a hat-trick for De Veys Reserves, whose other scorer in a 4-1 home victory against Cribbs Friends Life B was Connor Caddick, while The Park Knowle Reserves beat Woodland Reserves by the same score thanks to Jack Gardiner (2), Jamie Hawkes and Charlie Alden.

Abdi-Kadir Nuur struck a hat-trick for Amana SYF in a 6-3 success at Conham, with Abdul-Aziz Yusef (2) and Abdul-Rahnam Wayd also on the mark.

Greyfriars B were held to a 1-1 draw by Paul Potter's equaliser for Warmley, who won 5-4 on penalties, while Chris Smith, Darren Price and Scott Lovell shot Stockwood Wanderers Reserves to a 3-2 success at Stanton Drew Reserves.

Max Purnell's double paved the way for Bristol Bilbao's 7-0 battering of Iron Acton B, whose misery was completed by further strikes from Nick Joyce, Corey Clark, Ryan Elson and Craig Dembicki in the second half.

A hat-trick from Gary Dadds set up an 8-0 romp for Bishopsworth away to Wick A in the second round of the GFA Minor Cup.

Further goals from Mike McCarthy (2), Levi Gingell (2) and club secretary Geoff Wilson completed the rout.

Luke Baffin, Ryan Gidman, Matthew Ellery and Dimitri Dimitrou were on target for Westerleigh, 4-2 home winners against Wellington Wanderers, while Hillfields OB beat Seven Beach Reserves 3-0 thanks to Adam Lock (2) and Kyle Thomas.

Warmley Saints Reserves lost 2-1 away to Retainers Reserves, whose scorers were Dan Brooks and Ben Luddy, but Rob Davey's hat-trick could not save Downend Forresters Reserves from a 4-3 defeat at Fishponds Athletic.

Sporting Emmanuel were held to a 2-2 draw by replies from Joe Swain and Lewis Perryman for Wessex Wanderers Reserves, who went on to win 3-1 on penalties, while SAS United beat Woodland Rangers 4-2 in a spot-kick shoot-out after sharing four goals with the Churches League side.
