A 19-year-old woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in Brislington after a night out in Bristol city centre.

She was attacked at 4am on Friday as she walked home from Burger King on the A4.

The woman was assaulted in the corner of the Arno's Court Park adjacent to King's Road, and the two men ran off into the park. The victim left the scene on foot and saw two other men on a bicycle in the Hampstead Road area.

Police would like to speak to them and anyone who may have witnessed anything.

The attackers were white, in their early 20s and wearing casual clothing.

Contact Bristol CID on 0845 456 7000, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Im not making out its the victims fault, but with the world today you have to be careful, so walking around at 4am on ANY road is never safe”

“Dawn you make it sound as though it's the victims fault. Nobody has the right to attack women, and in an ideal world no woman should have to feel scared to walk along a lit main road whatever time of the day. What is frightening is that this crime was committed by a duo, who will no doubt strike again. Lets just hope the bizzies bag the culprits quickly.”
