Second gang sex attack
A woman has been subjected to a serious sexual assault in Eastville Park by a gang of men.
The 24-year-old woman was walking between Staple Hill and Fishponds Road. She was approached by a group of men, kidnapped and put a car, possibly a silver Ford Mondeo, and driven to the park.
It was there that she was attacked.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently being questioned.
Police said they were not connecting it with other similar incidents which have happened in the area over the last few weeks.
Detective Inspector Will White said: "This is an extremely busy road and police believe someone may have witnessed this incident.
"We'd like to hear from anyone who may have any information to help with this enquiry."
Women have been warned to take care in the area, especially after dark.
Witnesses to the attack, which happened on Wednesday at about 4.30pm, should call Bristol CID on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“I agree these sex attackers even when convicted are not given enough punishment for their evil wicked crimes. I think once you've done this you should have your private parts cut off. I also back a national DNA data base. It would stop people being a victim of this sort of crime overnight.”
