Ryan Abrahams, who died at the age of 14 in 2010
The teenager, who was born with brittle bones and spinal muscular atrophy, died at Charlton Farm in Wraxall, which will be one of the beneficiaries of the event at Tortworth Court on March 3. It is being held around the anniversary of Ryan, who was an Evening Post Gold Star winner and wheelchair footballer for Aston Villa, passing away.
Mrs Abrahams is appealing for local businesses to support the event.
"I will be raising money on the night for Children's Hospice South West and Jessie May. For any local businesses looking to support charities in the area buying a table at the ball would enable them to enjoy a magical evening while supporting life-limited children."
The black tie event will include a three-course dinner, disco and casino. An auction will also be held with a variety of fantastic prizes available including a signed Jenson Button photo, a signed England cricket bat, X Factor tickets and a weekend for two at a Four Pillars Hotel.
For more information about the ball and to buy a table contact 0117 949 1847.
