Bath City 1 Bristol Rovers 2

Sean Rigg scored twice as a youthful Bristol Rovers line-up defeated Bath City 2-1 at Twerton Park last night.

Transfer-listed duo Rigg and Lewis Haldane were the most experienced players on show for the Bristol Rovers and combined for both goals. Haldane set up Rigg with a neat back-heel on 14 minutes before threading the ball through for the striker to double Rovers' lead just past the half hour.

Darren Edwards squandered a number of chances for Bath but finally found the target when he chipped past the advancing Mike Green with two minutes to go.
